Who We Are

Partnering to build a beter world for everyone…

Itallen Foundation Cameroon (ITAFOCAM) is an ICT-oriented nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the digital gap. We believe that access to technology is a fundamental right, and we work to build a more equitable, technologically advanced future for all citizens of Cameroon.

In an era defined by a profound technological revolution, many underserved communities are being left behind. ITAFOCAM acts as a catalyst for change by using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to address critical national challenges.
We focus our efforts on five key pillars:
Education: Empowering students and teachers with digital tools.
Health: Improving healthcare delivery through technological solutions.
Agriculture: Helping farmers leverage technology for better yields.
Gender Equality: Closing the digital gender gap.
Youth Empowerment: Preparing the next generation for the modern workforce.

Why It Matters
While personal computers, mobile phones, and the Internet have transformed the world, the inequality in the distribution of these tools creates a “digital gap.” This disparity doesn’t just hurt underserved communities—it hinders our society as a whole. ITAFOCAM was founded to ensure that geography or economic status does not determine a person’s digital potential.

Our Approach
We don’t work alone. To create sustainable impact, we partner with:
International and local donors
Public and private institutions
Non-governmental organizations (NGOs)
Local community leaders
By providing integrated development programs and technical support—specifically in less privileged areas—we are turning the digital divide into digital opportunity.

Our Approach

More than just a class room: Our Safe learning HUBS

At Itallen Foundation Cameroon, we believe that learning only happens when a student feels secure.
We facilitate Safe Learning Spaces that provide:

A Judgment-Free Zone: Empowering beginners to explore technology at their own pace.

Digital Protection: Equipping learners with the tools to stay safe in an online world.

Inclusive Access: Ensuring women, youth, and persons with disabilities have a seat at the table.

Community Centeredness: Building local hubs where ideas are shared freely and safely.
